- 10 cups popped popcorn
- 2 cups mini pretzels
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar packed
- 0.5 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine popped popcorn and mini pretzels.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will bubble up.
Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and pretzels, stirring to coat evenly.
Spread mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
