Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup Ice water

Filling

  • 6 cups Plums pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt for the crust. Add cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water until the dough comes together.
  3. Roll out the dough and place it into a pie dish. Trim the excess dough and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix sliced plums, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  5. Roll out the remaining dough and cover the pie. Seal the edges and cut slits on top for steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Let it cool before serving.
