- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour sifted
- ¼ cup cocoa powder sifted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Gradually add the sifted flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until the dough comes together.
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe the dough onto the prepared baking sheet in desired shapes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
