Peppermint Patty Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.
