Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup White chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint extract
  • 1.5 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Crushed candy canes

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place the Rice Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  3. 3. Stir the peppermint extract into the melted white chocolate.
  4. 4. Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir to coat evenly.
  5. 5. Transfer the coated cereal into a large Ziploc bag, add the powdered sugar, and shake until well-coated.
  6. 6. Add the crushed candy canes to the bag and shake again to mix.
  7. 7. Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet to cool and set before serving.
