Ingredients 

Turnover Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pears peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger grated
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 package Puff pastry thawed
  • 1 Egg beaten

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pears, ginger, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  3. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of pear mixture in the center of each square. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush turnovers with beaten egg and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
