- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled and chopped pears
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the sugar, vegetable oil, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped pears.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
