Galette
- 1 sheet Pie crust store-bought or homemade
- 3 Pears peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Butter cut into small pieces
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pears, sugar, ground ginger, and lemon juice. Toss to coat.
Place the pear mixture in the center of the pie crust, leaving about a 2-inch border around the edges.
Fold the edges of the crust over the pears, pleating as needed to create a rustic look.
Dot the top of the pears with the small pieces of butter.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the pears are tender.
Let the galette cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
