Pear and Almond Galette
A rustic, free-form tart with juicy pears and a nutty almond filling.

- 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed
- 3 Pears sliced
- ½ cup Almond flour
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon Butter melted
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, and vanilla extract.
Spread the almond mixture over the center of the puff pastry, leaving a 2-inch border.
Arrange pear slices over the almond mixture.
Fold the edges of the pastry over the pears, pleating as necessary.
Brush the pastry edges with beaten egg and drizzle melted butter over the pears.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the pears are tender.
Let cool slightly before serving.
