Brownie Batter
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Peanut Butter Filling
- 1 cup peanut butter creamy
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
In a separate bowl, mix together peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
Spread the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
