- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
