  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture until well blended.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  6. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown. Cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
