Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Peaches sliced
  • ½ cup Sliced almonds

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternately with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the sliced peaches.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
