  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon maple extract

Instructions 

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and maple extracts.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
