1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side up, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
4. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the cooked salmon fillets and serve immediately.
