- 4 slices Stale bread Thick slices
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoon Butter For frying
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add butter.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
Place the soaked bread slices into the frying pan and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
