  • 3 tablespoon Butter melted
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Milk warm
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs separated
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest grated
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Butter the ramekins and dust with sugar.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually add the warm milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and add the sugar, egg yolks, orange zest, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  6. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently fold the egg whites into the orange mixture.
  8. Spoon the mixture into the prepared ramekins and bake for 15 minutes or until puffed and golden.
