Orange Cardamom Cookies

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Ground cardamom
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tablespoon Orange zest freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cardamom, and salt. 
- In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, orange zest, and vanilla extract, and mix well. 
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. 
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. 
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
