Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ cup Orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the almond flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the orange juice and zest until well incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
