Onion And Cheese Tart

- 1 sheet Puff Pastry thawed
- 3 large Onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
Roll out the puff pastry and fit it into a tart pan. Trim any excess dough.
Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the puff pastry.
Sprinkle shredded Gruyere cheese over the onions. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Let the tart cool slightly before slicing and serving.
