Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Water Room temperature
  • 1 cup Pitted olives Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Yeast Active dry

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Fold in the chopped olives.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven in the oven to preheat.
  6. Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  7. Carefully place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven, cover, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
