Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Rolled Oats

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
  5. Mix in the oats. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden.
  7. Cool on wire racks.
