Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. 2. Gradually add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a round or oval loaf.
  7. 7. Place the loaves on a baking sheet. Let them rise for another 20 minutes.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
