Main Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 ¼ teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- ¼ cup honey
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, salt, and yeast.
Add the warm water and honey, and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Place a Dutch oven in the oven to preheat as well.
Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
Carefully place the dough into the preheated Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the bread is golden brown.
Let the bread cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
