Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 1 unit Pie crust store-bought or homemade

Filling

  • 5 cups Nectarines sliced
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 unit Egg beaten, for egg wash

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sliced nectarines, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Pour the nectarine mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Cover with top crust, crimp edges to seal, and cut a few slits in the top to vent. Brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Let cool before serving.
