- 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 200 g Mushrooms sliced
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1 Egg beaten, for egg wash
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened.
Add mushrooms and thyme, cook until mushrooms are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut into squares and place on a baking sheet.
Top each pastry square with the mushroom mixture, leaving a border around the edges.
Brush the edges with beaten egg. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
