Ingredients 

Pie Crust

  • 2 sheets Refrigerated Pie Crust

Filling

  • 4 cups Mixed Berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Topping

  • 1 tablespoon Butter cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar for sprinkling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one sheet of pie crust and fit it into a baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the berries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Dot the filling with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the second sheet of pie crust and place it over the filling. Crimp the edges to seal.
  7. Cut a few slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle with sugar.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  9. Let the pie cool before serving.
