Mixed Berry Crostata

Crust
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
- 3 tablespoon Ice water
Filling
- 2 cups Mixed berries fresh or frozen
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and butter. Mix until crumbly.
Add ice water gradually, mixing until dough forms. Roll into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
Roll out dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a baking sheet.
Place berry mixture in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold edges over the filling.
Bake for 40 minutes or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly. Let cool before serving.
