Mississippi Mud Pie
A rich and decadent chocolate pie with layers of chocolate crust, chocolate filling, and whipped cream.

Crust
- 1 ½ cups Graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Butter, melted
Filling
- 1 cup Sugar
- ½ cup Cocoa powder
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 3 Eggs beaten
- ½ cup Butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Topping
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a pie dish to form the crust.
Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let it cool.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir in beaten eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
Pour the filling into the cooled crust. Bake for 20 minutes. Let it cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled pie.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
