  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the mini muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
