  • 2 slices Bread white or whole wheat
  • 1 cup Milk any kind
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon optional

Instructions 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
  3. Add butter to the milk and stir until melted.
  4. Pour the warm milk mixture over the toasted bread slices.
  5. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top, if desired. Serve immediately.
