Main Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- ½ cup chopped hazelnuts toasted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the milk chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts.
Shape the dough into a log about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Once chilled, slice the dough into ¼-inch thick rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
