Matcha Madeleines Recipe

Main Ingredients
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a madeleine pan.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, and baking powder.
In another bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until pale and thick. Add the vanilla extract.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Add the melted butter and mix until just combined.
Spoon the batter into the prepared madeleine pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers spring back when lightly touched.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
