Ingredients 

Cupcake Batter

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Matcha powder
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about ⅔ full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before serving.
