  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, and beaten egg. Mix gently to combine.
  2. Shape the mixture into 8 patties.
  3. In a skillet, heat butter and vegetable oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges or your favorite sauce.
