- 1 cup Butter softened
- ½ cup Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
Press the dough into the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let cool before cutting into squares.
