  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup pecans chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and maple syrup until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with your hand.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
