Main Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots peeled and cut into sticks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper freshly ground
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Pour in the maple syrup, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and stir to coat the carrots.
4. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for another 10-15 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
5. Serve warm.
