Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 pcs ripe mangoes peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the soaked glutinous rice and steam it for 20-25 minutes until cooked.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
  3. 3. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and pour half of the coconut milk mixture over it. Stir well and let it sit for 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. 4. Serve the sticky rice with sliced mangoes and drizzle the remaining coconut milk mixture on top. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
