Mallorca Bread Recipe

- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Milk Warm
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 4 Eggs Room temperature
- ½ cup Butter Melted
- ¼ cup Powdered sugar For dusting
1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add the sugar, eggs, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
6. Punch down the dough and shape it into rolls or a loaf. Place it on a baking tray and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
