- 8 oz Elbow Macaroni
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
4. Gradually whisk in the milk, and cook until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
5. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
6. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce, and stir to coat evenly.
7. Pour the macaroni and cheese into a baking dish, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
