Main Ingredients

  • 2 whole lobsters about 1 ½ pounds each
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Boil the lobsters in a large pot of salted water for about 8 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  3. 3. Once cool, remove the meat from the shells and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Keep the shells for serving.
  4. 4. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the white wine and cook until reduced by half.
  6. 6. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  7. 7. Spoon the mixture back into the lobster shells, sprinkle with Gruyere cheese, and place in a baking dish.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
