Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 6 large Russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Butter melted
  • 6 slices Bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 4 units Green onions chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in a large pot until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Mash the potatoes with sour cream, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded cheese, half of the bacon, and half of the green onions. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and bacon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with the remaining green onions before serving.
