Ingredients 

Bars

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and poppy seeds.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool completely.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bars.
