Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 packet gelatin unflavored
  • 2 tablespoon water cold

Instructions 

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and lemon zest. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot, but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin mixture until completely dissolved. Add vanilla extract.
  4. Pour mixture into ramekins. Let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  5. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh berries or mint leaves.
