- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Lemon zest freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon Dried lavender
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour, lemon zest, lavender, and salt. Mix until combined.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
