  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon Dried lavender
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour, lemon zest, lavender, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
  5. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
