  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon Dried lavender
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and dried lavender.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
