Ingredients

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
