  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Butter softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 cup Blueberries

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in lemon zest and blueberries.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
