Main Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter melted and cooled
- ⅔ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Dried Lavender finely chopped
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2 large Eggs room temperature
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease and flour a madeleine pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until pale and thick. Add the honey, vanilla extract, and chopped lavender.
Gently fold in the flour mixture, then add the melted butter and mix until just combined.
Spoon the batter into the prepared madeleine pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers spring back when lightly touched.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
